IHSS Quality Assurance Program

CSS has facilitated the IHSS Quality Assurance Program in Mono County since 2002 and in Alpine County since 2018.

 

Program services include quarterly reviews of case files to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations; training to social workers on new program updates and fraud prevention; monitoring social workers to ensure timely and accurate assessments and reassessments; quarterly home visits with IHSS recipients to ensure quality of services provided; creation of policies and procedures to improve the quality of the IHSS program; monitoring of cases for instances of fraud, neglect, or abuse; quarterly reports to the State on the functioning of the county IHSS program for recipients and providers, as well as performance of IHSS social workers; and the creation and implementation of quality improvement measures for the county IHSS program.
